MUMBAI: Archana Puran Singh and Parmeet Sethi, one of the entertainment industry's most loved couples, recently faced an overwhelming crowd in Delhi, but the surprising twist came from their son Aaryamann Sethi.
In a candid moment captured on a new vlog uploaded to Archana’s YouTube channel, Aaryamann revealed that he was pushed, slapped, and stepped on by overenthusiastic fans while accompanying his parents during a food outing in the capital.
The family had set out to explore some of Delhi’s famed chaat spots, casually filming their experience for their viewers.
As they navigated the bustling streets, fans quickly recognised Archana and Parmeet, gathering around them for selfies and greetings.
Archana, known for her playful humour, teased her son by saying, “Anyway, no one recognises you,” when he stepped out of the car.
The comment, though light-hearted, foreshadowed the chaos that was about to unfold.

As they moved from one food stop to another, the crowd grew larger and more persistent. Fans surrounded the family, eager to take pictures with the actors. In the vlog, Aaryamann recounted the unexpected aggression he faced.
He said, “People really love mom and dad, and they speak very gently with them. But the way they have slapped and pushed me around today. They stepped on my shoes, they pushed me and said, ‘Get us a picture’. I said, ‘Now I won’t’.
What is this? I was pushed around so much.” His shocked tone made it clear that he had not anticipated this side of public attention.
Archana and Parmeet continued engaging warmly with fans, as they always have throughout their long-standing careers.
Archana’s journey in the industry began with a small role in Nikaah, followed by notable performances in films like Jalwa, Agneepath, and Raja Hindustani. Her sharp comedic timing later made her a household name in shows such as Shrimaan Shrimati and in iconic films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Mohabbatein.
Since 2019, she has been a prominent part of Kapil Sharma’s television shows, further strengthening her connection with audiences.
Parmeet Sethi, too, has built a strong career across films and television. His debut in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge made him instantly recognisable, and he later earned acclaim for his performance in Diljale.
On television, he became well-loved for his roles in shows like Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. Beyond acting, he has also directed and worked behind the camera, adding more depth to his industry credentials.
Married since 1992, Archana and Parmeet often share moments from their personal lives, whether through interviews, social media, or now through vlogs.
Their Delhi outing, however, unexpectedly turned into a reminder of the intense and sometimes overwhelming nature of public admiration.
While the couple handled the situation with grace, their son’s experience highlighted the often-unseen challenges faced by celebrity families, where love from fans can sometimes spill over into uncomfortable territory.
