MUMBAI: The two biggest names in Indian cinema, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, recently created a major stir on social media with a joint appearance at the grand VIP opening of the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi.
The museum, a significant new cultural landmark in the Middle East, offered the pair an exclusive first look at its exhibits ahead of its public debut.
The stars, often celebrated for their iconic on-screen pairing and highly publicised off-screen friendship, were seen exploring the extensive galleries in matching sharp formal attire.

Shah Rukh Khan opted for a crisp black suit over a white shirt, while Salman Khan chose a dark grey blazer paired with a black shirt and trousers.
Their tour included some of the museum's most spectacular highlights. The actors were particularly captivated by "Stan," one of the best-preserved fossilised Tyrannosaurus rex skeletons ever discovered, dating back 67 million years.
They were photographed standing side-by-side against the backdrop of this massive dinosaur fossil, an image that immediately went viral and fuelled immense excitement among their global fanbase.
The new institution, now the largest natural history museum in the Middle East, features world-first displays, including a full herd of five different sauropod dinosaur species in the atrium and a dramatic diorama showing two T. rexes battling over a Triceratops carcass.
The two actors, alongside international guests like TV host Steve Harvey, MythBusters star Adam Savage, and actor Giancarlo Esposito, were treated to an immersive experience tracing the natural history of the Emirates and the evolution of life on Earth.
The recent frequent joint appearances by the duo—including dancing together at a wedding in New Delhi and attending a forum in Saudi Arabia—have delighted fans, reinforcing the enduring strength of their decades-long friendship.
Fans quickly flooded social media with comments, celebrating the visible bond between the Karan Arjun stars.
One fan’s remark perfectly summed up the sentiment, commenting online: "Lately I have seen Shah Rukh Khan more with Salman than Gauri."
Another online post joked: "These two are stuck together now."
The museum visit served not only as a cultural highlight but also as a powerful display of fraternity between the two influential figures, who are both gearing up for major upcoming projects.
