Exotic babe of B-town Priyanka Chopra, is leaving no stones unturned to deliver a punchy performance playing Mary Kom in her upcoming movie with the same name.

Mary Kom, as we all know, is a celebrated boxer who won Bronze medal at the London Olympics 2012. The movie is being produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

But many are unaware that Rani Mukerji was the first choice for the Mary Kom biopic. Yes, you read it right; after working together in movies like Black and Saawariya, Bhansali wanted Rani to play the role in the biopic. However, things did not work out and eventually Priyanka bagged the project.
