MUMBAI: Veteran film star Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89, just days before his 90th birthday on December 8.

The Reel captured candid moments of the two posing together and, most notably, dancing to the classic romantic track 'Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar' by Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle.

Expressing her grief, Archana wrote, "Words are not enough. There will be no other like Dharamji."

Recollecting the special performance, she detailed the emotional impact of the dance. "That evening, when we danced for a few minutes on the Kapil show, I felt the Universe had granted me one of life's biggest highlights and blessings.

Little did I know it would be the last time I would meet Dharamji," she wrote. To keep his memory close, Archana mentioned that she has been watching the veteran's songs constantly since his passing to feel his presence.

She further praised his character, describing his innate kindness and humility.

"His kindness shone from his eyes, his graciousness from every word he uttered. His smile was as shy as a young boy, only he could make a person feel hugged with just a handshake," she reflected.

She added that her younger self never would have imagined such an opportunity, saying, "Dharamji, the younger me would never have even imagined getting the chance to ever see you, let alone get the chance to perform with you, talk to you and express just how much I have always been a fan of you as an actor and even more, as an almost child like, beautiful human being."

The actor had been briefly hospitalised at Breach Candy Hospital earlier in November, with his family clarifying that he was recuperating after a death hoax circulated.

He was later brought home to his residence in Bandra before his eventual passing.

The celebrated television personality concluded her tribute by stating, "You have left millions heartbroken, but the world richer for having been with us for so many decades. Love you forever, Dharamji."

His demise has led to an outpouring of condolences from celebrities and fans across the country.
