MUMBAI: Ashnoor Kaur is a widely recognised Indian television actress who began her career as a child artist, achieving significant fame for her roles in popular serials like Jhansi Ki Rani and Patiala Babes.
Known for transitioning successfully into lead roles, she recently garnered attention for her participation as a contestant on the high-profile reality show Bigg Boss 19.
Despite being constantly linked on the show, Ashnoor clarified that their strong, genuine connection—solidified when Abhishek defended her during a captaincy task—is purely platonic.
After eviction from Bigg Boss 19, Ashnoor Kaur, in an interview, talked about her and Abhishek Bajaj’s bond as just ‘best friends’.

In Salman Khan’s show, she and Abhishek were always linked together; they are just friends, even though they have been closed in the show, Ashnoor said.
In a house where everyone is plotting against you, finding a genuine connection is very difficult “We are best friends, and that’s how the equation will always be’.
The strong bond grew during a task when Abhishek defended her tile without being obliged to.
"I think during the captaincy task, when Abhishek was defending my tile, that’s when I realised that he didn’t have to do it, but he was still doing it out of friendship,"
She concluded that this pivotal moment solidified their connection: "That was the first time I knew that I had formed a strong bond. And then we got to know each other better, and got closer."
Following her recent eviction from Bigg Boss 19, Ashnoor Kaur was welcomed by co-contestant Abhishek Bajaj, who took to Instagram to share several photos and a video of them together at her home.
In the clip, Ashnoor expresses her wish to have stayed just one more week for the grand finale, to which Abhishek reassuringly replies, No problem. The good people are here, and the rest are gone.

With Ashnoor Kaur’s exit, the contestants now competing for the Bigg Boss 19 trophy are Gaurav Khanna, Tanya Mittal, Pranit More, Mitali Chahar, and Farrhana Bhatt.
The Grand Finale of Bigg Boss 19 is gearing up for December 7th. The show will stream on JioHotstar at 9 PM and will be televised on Colours at 10:30 PM.
