MUMBAI: The end of 2025 is anticipated to be a thrilling month for movie buffs, as Indian cinema has a range of movies to wrap off the year with a bang.

Here is a list of Hindi theatrical releases for December 2025, ranging from an inspiring life story of an Indian hero to a situational comedy drama full of brain-rotting situations and a spy action thriller tied to gang conflicts.

In addition to these thrilling Hindi titles, a Hindi dubbing of the Hollywood movie Avatar: Fire and Ash will also be released.

The month kicks off on December 5 with the high-octane spy action drama, Dhurandhar.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, this film is touted as a comeback vehicle for Ranveer Singh, who is joined by a powerful ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna.

The narrative draws inspiration from intense, real-life incidents, geopolitical conflicts, and Indian intelligence operations, featuring the gritty backdrop of the Lyari gang war in Pakistan.

Particularly, with a length of 3 hours and 34 minutes, Dhurandhar is scheduled to be Ranveer Singh's first top-notch movie.

Mid-month, on December 12, comedy takes centre stage with Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2.

This comedy drama, directed by Anukalp Goswami, marks the return of Kapil Sharma to the big screen in the sequel to his 2018 hit.

The plot follows a familiar yet chaotic premise, with Kapil Sharma’s character attempting to juggle three current wives while gearing up for a fourth marriage.

Supporting actresses in the movie include Tridha Choudhury, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan.

A week later, on December 19, the family romantic drama Durlabh Prasad Ki Dusri Shaadi will be released.

This film, directed by Siddhant Raj Singh, stars Sanjay Mishra and Mahima Chaudhary in the lead roles.

The story centres on a son who decides to arrange a second marriage for his father.

This unusual situation arises from a demand by his own fiance's family for a female presence in the household.

The festive Christmas week, December 25, features a double-release treat.

First is the romantic comedy drama Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, which pairs Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday.

The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who previously collaborated with Kartik on Satyaprem Ki Katha.

Early promotional material suggests a quirky, colourful, and highly entertaining romantic offering.

Sharing the Christmas release date is Ikkis, an anticipated biographical drama from acclaimed director Sriram Raghavan.

The film is a tribute to the life of India's youngest Param Vir Chakra awardee, Arun Khetarpal.

The film introduces Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, in the titular role.

The project is also particularly significant as it marks the final cinematic appearance of the legendary late actor Dharmendra, who is also part of the powerful cast alongside Jaideep Ahlawat.
