MUMBAI: TellyChakkar.com was the first to report that actress Rinku Dhawan had joined Star Plus’ Anupamaa. The Bigg Boss 17 contestant entered the show with a bang, bringing a much-needed ray of warmth and optimism into Anupama’s life.
Rinku, who is currently seen in Deepa Shahi and Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa, has been a part of the entertainment industry for over three decades and has excelled in every role she has taken up. Despite mastering her craft, she ensures that no emotion from her personal life spills into her on-screen performances.

In a conversation with TellyChakkar, Rinku opened up about portraying layered and intense emotions on screen. When asked if she ever had to pause a scene because the emotion felt uncomfortably real, she replied, “I don’t let anyone or anything affect me.”
However, she did recall one kind of scene she still finds challenging. “The most difficult emotion for me to portray was dying or taking a bullet. I didn’t know how to do it,” she shared.
While she believes life itself is the biggest teacher, Rinku feels that being observant is equally crucial for an actor. “Life, in general, teaches you everything, but yes, being observant is extremely important as an actor,” she said.
With every new experience, Rinku has learned to set healthy boundaries.
“Every project is a new setup. Earlier, I would get attached to everyone on my show, but now I don’t anymore. I just keep reading my scripts in my room, and after packing up, I go home,” Rinku concluded.
