A lot of people don’t realise the role the Indian Navy plays in safeguarding our borders. Witnessing the discipline, focus and quiet courage of the officers on board was incredibly humbling. These men and women stand strong so we can sleep peacefully, they protect waters we may never see, and they carry a sense of duty that goes far beyond a uniform.
We often speak of patriotism, but I got to witness what it looks like in its purest form. Service without expectation, resilience without complaint, and sacrifice made with pride.
