MUMBAI: In the presence of the Indian Army and their families, the legendary Famagusta tank — the very tank commanded by Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal in the Battle of Basantar — was unveiled by Lt Gen. DS Kushwah, AVSM, SM, along with Dinesh Vijan, Sriram Raghavan, Agastya Nanda, Jaideep Ahlawat and Simar Bhatia. Famagusta will now make its way across Mumbai, offering people a rare and humbling chance to stand before the symbol of a 21-year-old’s unmatched courage and sacrifice.
