MUMBAI: Mahhi is best known for her memorable roles as Nakusha in Laagi Tujhse Lagan and Nandini in Balika Vadhu.
She has also appeared in numerous television episodes and music videos.
Her film debut was in the Malayalam movie Aparichithan, starring Mammootty.
Mahhi was last seen in the 2018 series Laal Ishq.

Mahhi Vij has returned to television after a nine-year break with Seher Hone Ko Hai on Colors TV, featuring Parth Samthaan, Rishita Kothari, and Vaquar Shaikh.
Her husband, Jay Bhanushali, took a public stand against recent separation rumours by actively championing her comeback.
Jay posted a clip of the show on his Instagram Stories, writing: "Watch Seher Hone Ko Hai tonight at 10 pm on Colors TV. Mahhi Vij, all the best, the 1st episode is rocking!" a clear signal of his unwavering support, amid rumours of their separation.
The television series Seher Hone Ko Hai centres on the compelling story of a mother's unwavering courage as she supports her daughter's dreams.
Produced by Richa Yamini, the show marks the debut of social media personality Rishita Kothari in the lead role of Seher, with Mahhi Vij starring as her mother, Kausar.
Parth Samthaan completes the main cast as Mahid Niyazi.
Earlier, Mahi and Jay grabbed headlines over rumours of a divorce, but the actress soon took to social media to set the record straight.
She firmly denied all such claims, calling them baseless, and even warned the media that she would take legal action against anyone spreading false or misleading news.
The couple, who married in 2011, share daughter Tara (born 2019) and foster children Rajveer and Khushi (welcomed in 2017).
