MUMBAI: The inaugural list ranking the Most Popular Indian Actors and Directors has been released, providing a comprehensive snapshot of the most-watched and anticipated figures in the film industry.
The rankings reveal major recognition for the team behind the recent film Saiyaara, alongside several high-profile stars returning to the screen and established directors.

Ahaan Panday, known for Saiyaara, ranked number one among the actors.
Aneet Padda, known from Saiyaara, secured the second spot.
Mohit Suri, the director of Saiyaara, secured the top position in the newly launched Most Popular Indian Directors list.
The third position among the actors went to Aamir Khan for his film Sitaare Zameen Par, while Homebound star Ishaan Khatter secured the fourth spot.
Lakshya secured the fifth spot, with Rashmika Mandanna following close behind at the sixth position.
Kalyani Priyadarshan (Malayalam) and Triptii Dimri (Hindi cinema) grabbed the seventh and eighth spots, followed by Rukmini Vasanth (Kannada) at ninth and Rishab Shetty (Kannada) at tenth.
Aryan Khan, among the filmmakers, took the second spot for his upcoming series The Bads of Bollywood.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, Anurag Kashyap, and Prithviraj Sukumaran secured the top positions in the rankings as directors.
The middle positions were held by R.S. Prasanna, Anurag Basu, and Dominic Arun as directors.
Laxman Utekar and Neeraj Ghaywan completed the top 10 directors ranking.
