MUMBAI: Ashnoor Kaur is a popular Indian television actres and she has a massive fan following.

The actress was last seen in the realiy show Bigg Boss 19 where her game was loved by the fans.

Ashnoor Kaur was evicted from Bigg Boss 19 last week following a rule break where she hit Tanya Mittal during the Ticket to Finale task.

While her elimination was due to the incident, netizens largely praised Ashnoor’s overall journey and the internet was divided to if her eviction was fair or unfair.

During her time on the show, the 21-year-old faced many hurdles, but the most painful was the body-shaming icident where Tanya and Neelam spoke about her weight issues.

In an interview, Ashnoor revealed she has long struggled with body image issues and the shame surrounding that insecurity.

She then detailed her reasons for finally addressing the issue publicly on the programme.

Ashnoor explained that the body-shaming was a very personal issue for her, one she never imagined she could be vocal about.

She confessed to feeling quiet and "ashamed" of her insecurity, having always felt, "I don’t look good enough or I don’t want to share my story, I don’t want to share my insecurity."

The television actress revealed that the moment she heard about the body-shaming, she felt compelled to address it.

Her motivation was not self-defence, but rather a desire to reach out to others struggling with similar insecurities and body image issues.

There’s no doubt fans will miss seeing Ashnoor as one of the show’s finalists, but they remain hopeful that she’ll return to screens very soon.
