MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 19 is now over; however, the shocking statements made by the finalists and other contestants are still making headlines and providing drama and controversies to gossip-hungry audiences.
Post her eviction from Bigg Boss 19, Tanya Mittal was seen interacting with the media. While she wasn’t pleased with most of the questions thrown at her, she sat through a few one-on-one interviews and answered difficult questions with dignity and grace.
In an interview with Film Window, Tanya was asked about her link-up with Amaal Mallik and whether she would like to work with him again, perhaps in a music video. Tanya said, "Mere dost bhi main jo choose karti hoon, meri family dekhti hai. Mere liye mere mata-pita se badhkar kuch nahi hai. Aur jaisa Amaal ka nature mera towards raha, show mein unhone meri taraf ek ganda ishaara bhi kiya, sab kuch kiya… jis hissaab se Amaal ka ravaiyya raha, mujhe nahi lagta ki mere parivaar ko pasand aayega. Aur main apne parivaar se bina pucche dosti bhi nahi karti hoon, toh music video toh bahut door ki baat hai…"
(Even the friends I choose are approved by my family. Nothing is more important to me than my parents. And considering Amaal’s behaviour towards me — he even made an obscene gesture at me on the show and did many such things — the way his attitude was, I don’t think my family would like it. And I don’t even befriend anyone without asking my family, so a music video with him is completely out of the question…)
She further clarified that she genuinely cared for Amaal as a friend and looked after him with a pure heart. She added that he may be a big celebrity in Mumbai, but she was unaware of his stardom and didn’t do anything to seek attention or gain footage.
