On the last day of shoot, Tellychakkar talks to the emotional cast of Hitler Didi

Hitler Didi
Time to say goodbye. Wondering to whom? Well, the popular show Hitler Didi (Trilogy Media Pvt. Ltd ), as reported earlier by Tellychakkar.com, will air its last episode this Friday (2 August 2013). And the crew and the cast have assembled together to shoot for the last time today (30 July). The lead of the show Sumit Vats, who charmed viewers with his act of Rishi Kumar says, “ Hitler Didi had been a fun ride which I will cherish all my life. This show has given me recognition and I owe all my success to it. Today, as we shoot for the last time, we are just recalling every memorable instance connected with the show. There have been so many of them.” Asked to relate his best memory, the actor avers, “The two years have been so beautiful. The journey from Delhi to Mumbai was a great one and I’ll remember shooting in Filmcity the most. I and Sandeep Baswana (Munna in the show) used to go out for long walks in the beautiful place; I’ll miss everyone in my team very much.” At this point, Rituraj Singh joins in and adds, “I loved the characterization of the show. I would say I was hoping to get a sandwich but the makers served me a buffet lunch (laughs). This was my first time with debutant producers but I was really impressed with the way they managed the entire affair.” Recalls Sejal Shah, who played the loud mother of Indira, “The show had been very close to all of us and now I realise the vacuum it will create in our lives after it winds up. When you are attached to a show for two years, one will definitely feel awkward of not returning back to the set again. The character of Kutumbh was a tough one to essay being a Guajarati. I had to embrace the Punjabi accent in my mannerism which took a lot of hard work and dedication.” Talking about the show, the very positive producer Rohit Vaid observes, “Hitler Didi managed to do its job so very well that it helped us launch our production and give us credibility to stand in the industry. It is definitely sad that it is ending so soon; it still had a lot to give but nevertheless we are looking at it positively and hope we will do something bigger soon.” With a party planned in the evening, the cast will cheerfully bid goodbye to their show thereafter. We at Tellychakkar.com hope every one of them bags a good project soon.
