I always wanted to be a Disney princess - Priyanka Chopra

The svelte and stunning Priyanka Chopra who was out of action in India due to her frenetic US trip, is now back to take stock of things that she was missing here. And she made sure that the audiences were left eating out of her hands when she took center stage to promote Disney Toon Studio’s Planes which is the first animation movie that she has lent her voice to. Dressed in jeans and a white top that gave a sneak peek of her shining naval ring, Priyanka looked every bit of a Hollywood diva. As the shutterbugs went crazy clicking her and showed no signs of relenting Priyanka asked wittily,” Did you guys miss me so much?” Talking about ‘Ishani’, the character that she has dubbed for in Planes, Priyanka said, “Ishani is a very sexy plane and my own animated version. The way she opens her eyes and the way she talks is basically me.” Priyanka also reminisced the time when she dreamt of becoming a Disney princess. “I always wanted to be Disney princess like Tinkerbell who was my favourite.” Planes tell the story of Dusty, a plane who dreams of competing in a global race with the world’s fastest aircraft. Ishani plays Dusty’s love interest in the movie. Apart from lending her voice to Ishani, Priyanka has also sung a song in the movie. When asked if she aspires to sing for Hindi movies too, she replied in affirmative. “Why not?” she quipped. The fun moment came when Priyanka posed with the miniature version of Ishani. When a scribe asked her to give Ishani ki nishani, Priyanka playfully fingered the propeller and said ‘That’s her Nishani.’ Now that’s a naughty one PeeCee but we like it.
