"Boredom" hits the actors of SAB TV’s Jeannie aur Juju

SAB TV’s show Jeannie Aur Juju, that premiered in November, 2012, has reached a stage of monotony in view of roles played by Amit Tandon and co-actor Neha Mehta. In the show, Amit plays Rahul-a pilot and love interest of Gia (Jeannie’s sister) played by Neha Mehta. Now, it looks like the audience and fans are eager to see Rahul and Gia’s story move ahead since it has become very monotonous. So did the actor talk this out to his producers at Eagle Films Productions? Answers Amit, “Yes, fans do want to see Rahul and Gia’s story move forward as they find the characterisation monotonous. Both I and Neha have spoken to the producer and are hopeful that in the coming episodes we will see our story progress to a different level.” The actor also expressed his eagerness to play the grey shaded and negative characters he once played. “Initially I took up Jeannie Aur Juju because I had never attempted comedy as a genre. Moreover, I wanted to add variation to my talent as an actor. In addition to Jeannie Aur Juju, I am eager to once again play grey and edgy character roles. I am very happy doing comedy and I feel it is the most difficult thing for an actor to do. Thus being able to schedule something that could help me play both kinds of roles would be awesome,” Amit adds. Amit came into the public glare as a participant of Indian Idol and thereafter chose acting as a career. He was cast in shows such as Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi amongst other reality shows. Before pursuing Jeannie Aur Juju, he was seen in Dill Mill Gaye.
