Sajid Nadiadwala ties up with UTV for worldwide distribution of Highway

Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandsons has tied up with UTV Motion Pictures for the worldwide distribution and satellite rights of their much-awaited film Highway. The film, directed by Imtiaz Ali, is the journey of two completely opposite people who are thrown together by fate. Avers Sajid, "We’ve tied up with UTV who share our vision to ensure that the film reaches deep and wide in India and across international markets. The film is looking great and I want to give Highway the release it deserves. Strategically too, we have decided to release the film on 21 February, 2014." Talking of the film, Ali observes, “This film had the most number of locations in a film for me, and yet the shortest span of shoot. Of course that's how it should have been for a movie called Highway. This shooting has been the most intense and liberating journey," Imtiaz said. Highway releases on 16 May, next year.
