Prasoon Joshi to team up with Kamal Haasan for the first time

Prolific writer, poet, scriptwriter and lyricist Prasoon Joshi is to team up with actor, filmmaker Kamal Hassan for the very first time. They would collaborate in Haasan’s sequel of Viswaroopam. Joshi was chosen over veteran Javed Akhtar who had written the songs for the first part. As a matter of interest, Akhtar not only penned the lyrics for the Hindi version of Viswaroopam but had also translated the Tamil ones that were written by acclaimed Tamil poet Vairamuthu. It said that after Haasan approached the lyricist and scriptwriter to pen down the lyrics for the sequel of Viswaroopam, Joshi, who recently garnered immense appreciation for his work in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Satyagraha, agreed to come on board for the film.
