We have often heard about mobile phone companies sending wrong bills to its consumers and harassing them to pay up the same. Looks like IPL host and popular emcee Gaurav Kapur is currently at the receiving end of a similar lackadaisical and torturous routine courtesy his erstwhile internet service provider, Reliance Communications.
Gaurav took to Twitter to vent his ire against the internet service provider.
“Wow! Reliance Communications, you really know how to harass people!” So read Gaurav’s first tweet which was immediately followed by another one…
“Have 10 emails from Reliance on Jun 24th confirming my internet service is terminated. Yet I've got bills AND a legal notice months later!”
Soon his Twitter handle was flooded with tweets from people who had experienced similar problems.
Gaurav’s friend, popular VJ Juhi Pande had a word of advice though. She tweeted, “GK, wait till you start getting threats from some lawyer in Delhi. That's when the fun begins.”
Gaurav, however, didn’t look like in a mood to relent or let go. His last tweet read: “I’m not letting this go. The point is not the Rs 1000 bill.
Reliance Communication, what is wrong is wrong. And this is plain harassment.”
We are sure since it’s a celeb involved in this case, Reliance will be forced to pull up their socks and rectify their error. Let’s wait and watch.
