Vikas opts out of Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani

As Ekta Kapoor’s Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani readies up for its launch tonight, the show is in news again what with Vikas Goopta scheduled to play Siddarth now out of it. A source informs, “Vikas who was supposed to play the parallel lead doesn’t want to continue with the show anymore. His entry was supposed to be after some 10-12 episodes but now with his exit we are back to searching for another guy. We have zeroed in on Raj Singh Arora and in all probability he would be the new replacement.” Says Goopta, “Yes, it is true I am no longer part of the show. I am glad Balaji gave me the opportunity and am grateful to Ekta. However things didn’t exactly work in my favour and I had to opt out.” We also called up Raj Singh Arora who was last seen in Koi Aane Ko Hai to confirm our bit of news. However, the actor claimed ignorance about it. He said, “I have absolutely no idea about this. In fact, I am hearing this from you. But I had auditioned for the lead role long time back and really wanted to be a part of the show however the production house did not revert. In any case I haven’t got a call from the production house till now and I am totally clueless. I will let you know in case this happens.”
