India is turning out to be the new hotbed for Hollywood actors to make a fleeting visit. In the recent times, Indian shores played guest to a host of Hollywood bigwigs like Robert de Niro, Sharon Stone and Susan Sarandon. Now news trickles in that Titanic star, Leonardo DiCaprio is planning to visit India in the first week of January. The actor who was in news three years ago for being in talks to visit India for a project on Tiger conservation recently said in a press statement, "I plan to visit India soon."
Interestingly Leonardo’s movie The Wolf of Wall Street which was delayed by over a month is now scheduled to release in India on 25 December while Leonardo will come calling in India in the first week of January. The Wolf of Wall Street follows the real life incident of Belfort, a famous Wall Street stock broker who used fraudulent methods to rise to the top.
However, sources say that promoting the movie in India is not uppermost on the mind of the Hollywood actor. During this visit it is believed that Leonardo will meet and interact with India’s most promising entrepreneurs. Sources say that the actor sees India as a country booming with young firms and startups. The actor sees this visit as a great platform to interact with a crowd of young enthusiasts in India.
Now, we are sure Bollywood biggies might have already blocked their January dates to meet this gem of an actor.
