Was Abhishek Bachchan purposefully kept out of Dhoom 3's promotions?

Looks like there is much trouble in Dhoom's paradise. Abhishek Bachchan, who has been part of all three movies of the franchise is ostensibly being given a raw deal by its makers. Abhishek was nowhere to be seen at the initial grand promotional launches (of songs and merchandise) where Aamir and Katrina were present. Something looked really amiss and rumours started doing the rounds that Abhishek was not even informed about these events. When asked yesterday, Abhishek himself confirmed that he was indeed not informed. “It is true that I was not informed about it," said Abhishek. But the actor looked unsure while answering. Meanwhile, even though the question was addressed to Abhishek, Aamir put his hand up and tried answering the question. Aamir said that it was Aditya Chopra's plan to introduce each actor with a song. And then Aamir blundered by saying that since Abhishek Bachchan and Uday didn't have any solo songs featured on them, they were not called. To this a visibly uncomfortable Abhishek said, "Thank You." Aamir then got into damage control mode and said, "I tried calling Abhishek but his phone was unreachable." Not a good excuse Aamir, we say. The question that remains unanswered is who should be held responsible for giving Abhishek such a raw deal? For someone who has been in the industry for more than a decade now, we feel Abhishek deserved better.
