Handsome hunks have always garnered quite a lot of fan following on television, especially the new faces who have made a mark for themselves in their very first outing.
Yesterday, we carried a list of newcomers (female) and today we bring you the list of males who have stepped into stardom successfully in TV this year. Here are the names in alphabetical order.
Get ready to vote for your favourite and help them win in this category.
Rahul Sharma (Ek Ghar Banaunga) – This very good looking guy was to enter as the grown up Ranvi in Star Plus’ Veera, but luck had different plans for him and he started off with this show on the same channel, produced by Village Boy Productions. The serial which has Rahul playing a son-in-law, who is like a son to his wife’s parents, has been the perfect launch pad for the youngster. Though he has miles to go, he has really taken the first step to reaching great things.
Vishal Vashishtha (Crazy Stupid Ishq and Veera) – This young boy from Kolkata made it big with Sphere Origins’ show Crazy Stupid Ishq on Channel V and as soon as the show went off air, he grabbed a powerful role in the Beyond Dreams’ Veera on Star Plus where he is playing the grey shaded Baldev. The actor is indeed lucky to get an opportunity to play two very different roles in such a short span of time. Here’s hoping that lady luck will continue to shine on him.
Priyansh Jora/Kiran Srinivas/Adish Khanna (24) – This show has been a game changer for TV, but has been a life changer for many young actors. Anil Kapoor has given an opportunity to many new faces in this Colors show, but the ones to stand out with their excellent performances are Priyansh, Adish and Kiran. Kiran is also currently seen in Channel V’s Paanch as a negative lead. Must say, a great choice in 24 to get noticed!!
Nishad Vaidya (Amita Ka Amit) – When he came on the screen with his simple-normal looks, many thought he was a wrong choice, but the actor has today silenced his critics with his talent in Sony TV’s show Amita Ka Amit (Swastik Productions). Playing the perfect son and husband the actor has made a mark exhibiting great chemistry with Amita (Chandni Bhagwanani). The challenge now for him is to keep it going, and earn success and fame in his next shows as well.
Rafi Malik (Desh Ki Beti Nandini) – This Gladrags model has made a grand entry as the reigning prince in the political family of Suryavanshi’s in the Sony TV show Nandini by Rashmi Sharma Productions. The young lad is good looking and is a lady-killer when dressed as a political honcho. And surprisingly this model can act! Rafi is surely doing a great job and we are sure he will prove to be a great find for the TV world.
Ruslaan Mumtaz (Kehta Hai Dil...Jee Le Zara) – This actor had already shown his prowess on the big screen, and when he moved to TV, people thought it was a very wrong move. But with Rose Audio Visual Pvt Ltd show Jee Le Zara on Sony TV, the handsome boy has managed to climb the popularity charts with his talent and charm.
Vibhav Roy (Gustakh Dil) – This newcomer seems a hard worker and matches well with his other co-stars in Ravi Ojha’s above show on Life OK. Playing a spoilt brat seems a natural for this cute looking actor, and he is doing a swell job as he romances two girls in his very first show. A great start!!!
Aryan Pandit (Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai) – He plays the guy being pulled apart, emotionally tied between his mom and wife in Impact Tele Network Pvt. Ltd’s show on Sahara One. The guy is a good actor but with the channel and show being a sinking boat, the actor has to put in extra efforts to get noticed.
Arpit Ranka/ Arun Rana (Mahabharat) – These two actors stood out among the long list of debutants in the Star Plus’ magnum opus show by Swastik Productions. Playing Duryodhan and Pandu respectively, the actors have presented great acting talent and screen presence. While Arpit plays the fiery and strong man, Arun played the sweet and righteous younger brother. Both are good looking and have a different aura to themselves.
Adhhvik Mahajan (Bani- Ishq Da Kalma) – He made his debut with Ram Gopal Varma’s film and today he plays the lead in this Colors’ show by Mystic Productions. Playing the village boy who is in love with Bani (Shefali Sharma) but gets married to her cousin Rajji, Adhhvik does show his acting skills, but sadly with his track being sidelined, there’s not much he is doing now.
Himanshu Soni (The Buddha) – He is good looking plus hard working plus a good actor - and all this makes him a complete package. And getting to play the title lead in a show about the great spiritual leader, Himanshu is cashing in on a lifetime role in Zee TV’s show Buddha by Spice. And when Dr B.K. Modi is there as a mentor, you are sure to touch great heights.
Kunwar Dhillon/Manish Gandhi (Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha 2) – These young bloods joined the show post the leap in season 2 of Colors’ above popular show by Sunshine Productions. Kunwar played Addu, Megha’s (Akansha Singh) son who lost his way and thus hated his step father Mohan (Karan Kunal Kapoor). Manish impressed the viewers with his portrayal of Munna who was mentally disabled and was in the care of Addu. Both the actors are doing well now, with Kunwar bagging Do Dil Ek Jaan and Manish heading for his film making course in London.
These are the debutants who have stepped into the TV screen this year, and are currently doing well in their shows. So now you get going and spread the buzz and vote for your favourites.
