Prabhu Dheva dismisses rumours of being "homeless"

Belying reports that after his departure from the rented flat owned by Boney Kapoor, friends have found a home for him in Mumbai, Prabhu Dheva shifted into a suburban hotel on his return to the maximum city on Saturday. Says Prabhu, “I am staying in a hotel for the next week or so. By then I hope to find another home. Even if I don’t I am okay. I’ve no assets to store except my clothes.” Prabhu Dheva who was holidaying with his parents and sons in Mysore is much amused by reports in the media about his “homelessness”. “It has become a national issue, as if I was forced to vacate my home and now I’ve nowhere to go. That isn’t true at all. I very happily moved out. And I was not traveling last week because I am homeless. Please! I was on a vacation with my parents and children. Everyone in Mumbai goes on a holiday during New Years Eve. Why can’t I?” Prabhu Dheva returned to Mumbai on Saturday and immediately resumed shooting for Action Jackson. He booked into a hotel until he finds his own place. “I don’t need much space except when my children visit me. I don’t eat at home. In fact I am not much into food at all. I’ve lost even more weight now. Since I started working the minute I landed in Mumbai it is more convenient for me to work from a hotel for the time being.” Prabhu admits his friends in Mumbai are searching for a place for him. “There are 5-6 options. I may choose to move into one of these apartments that my friends have found for me. But nothing has been decided as yet. Right now I’d rather stay in a hotel.” Then the self-effacing self-declared gypsy quips, “I am shooting on a road with Ajay. I just hope people don’t say, ‘Prabhu Dheva sadak pe aa gaya.” Nice one, Prabhu!!!
