Actress Trisha Krishnan proposes; Salman Khan disposes

Remember Trisha Krishnan, the pretty South Indian actress who made her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in the movie Khatta Meetha? The actress last week, confessed on a popular South Indian chat show Koffee with DD that she would like to marry none other than Bollywood’s dashing debonair dude, Salman Khan. When asked on the show who she would like to propose marriage to, Salman Khan was Trisha’s answer. The actress revealed that ever since childhood she was besotted with only one actor and that’s Salman Khan. When we met Salman at Mehboob studios yesterday, we couldn’t help but ask the macho star on what he thought about Trisha’s proposal. Salman, who usually avoids queries on marriage like the plague, on hearing about Trisha’s proposal, shrugged his broad shoulders and smilingly asked, “For how many weeks? How long? Yaar, I am not interested in getting married.” Salman then went on to elaborate the reason behind his perennial reluctance in tying the proverbial marital knot. “I am not interested in having a girlfriend because I am in love with my single status. I am absolutely having a blast. I have been single for the last 30 years and I have absolutely loved it. You have no idea. I am telling you it is so much fun. I don’t have to lie to anybody nor do I have to give any explanations to anyone either. Aur agar koi aayi tho unko bhi sahi sahi bolo ki aisa aisa chakkar hain. Do not expect anything, any faithfulness, any loyalty or anything.” Salman also said that he is not looking at committing to anyone right now. "When I commit, then I commit. Right now, I am non-committal about anything,’”said the superstar actor. Well, Trisha may be heartbroken to hear Salman’s response but we are sure there are a lot of single girls out there who wouldn’t mind fancying their chances with Salman.
