Seema Kapoor who had almost vanished from the TV circuit is back with Sapna Babul ka- Bidaai. Playing the important role of Vasundhara, Seema will be seen in the 16 Jan episode. Talking to tellychakkar on her comeback and her role, Seema says, "My character's name is Vasundhara Rajvansh. I play the role of an independent woman who rules the roost. Everything happens as per her whims and fancies. Though she is very powerful but she has an air of mystery about her. Her family listens to her and abides by her decisions. Vasundhara is an introvert and keeps it to herself. She doesn't emote with anybody and distances herself from everyone." Seema was last seen in Star Plus' Gharwali Uparwali and was on a sabbatical of sorts. Seema avers, "I was very much there in the television circuit. But I was just working in tit-bits. See after working hard for almost 15 years I can't keep working round the clock. Though I was very much a part of television, I was doing Hansi Woh Phansi on Sab and two shows namely Air-hostess and Ms. India on Doordarshan. Both these shows on Doordarshan were the top shows." Seema adds, "I just took my work lightly for two years so you can call it a sabbatical of sorts. I was just chilling out." Seema feels that the quality of the role offered tempted her to take it up. Seema says, "Nothing in particular that made me choose this role. If good work keeps coming your way then one tends to pick it up. After doing some good work on television you can't expect me to choose anything and everything. I have to be choosy and I can't be compromising on the work front." Well as Seema starts her innings afresh we wish her the best.
