MUMBAI: Actor director Ashok Tyagi has been pressing the fans with his amazing work across platforms. Ashok Tyagi who has given television serials like Hum Saath Aanth Hain, Gharwali Uparwali aur Sunny, Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Dekho Magar Pyar Se, is now impressing fan with his latest television serial ‘Mujhe Mary Kom Banna Hai’.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the director Ashok Tyagi on his television serial. The director shared his excitement while interacting. And revealed that this is one of his special projects, and is very much close to heart. As per what the title says, Mujhe Mary Kom Banna Hai, this serial throws light on the journey of a poor girl who faces all the odds and fights the society to fulfill her dreams to become a boxer.

The director also said, this is one of the inspirational and motivational stories which every family member should see, stories like this are a must at this time.

Mujhe Mary Kom Banna Hai has fresh new faces which include Aalap Tyagi, Suvidha Duggal Sarpal along with Gyan Prakash, Anita Prakash, Vinod Goswami and others. And this serial telecasted on every Saturday and Sunday 6 p.m. on DD National.

Talking about his future project director Ashok Tyagi reveals that currently he is working on a web series and a Bollywood movie, web series which has the title of last year life, which will be based on college life. And also has a movie titled ATM.
