Noted director Anurag Basu marks his return to TV with a show that’s tipped to air on Sahara One. Controversial celebs like Raja Chaudhary, Monica Bedi, Payal Rohatgi, Aryan Vaid and Kashmira Shah are part of this show. Well, all of them have participated in Bigg Boss. While it’s still not clear on the exact nature of the show but a source close to one of the above celebs informs, “Kashmira, Monica Bedi, Raja Chaudhary, Payal Rohatgi and Aryan Vaid are part of this show. It’s tentatively titled Unit 9. It’s loosely based on the lines of Bigg Boss. The show will require them to play games. Anurag Basu is directing it. The shoot is currently on at Future studios, Goregaon.” We tried contacting Sahara One creative director Mushtaq Sheikh who asked us to email the queries but we didn’t receive any feedback at the time of going to press. Anurag Basu remained unavailable for comment.
