Mohit Mattoo
Tellychakkar.com had earlier carried an article about actor Mohit Mattoo looking forward to the release of his music album based against rape – Rape Must Die..I Support, issued in public interest by FilmRecipe India and Good Times Pictures. Mohit who was working out rigorously to tie-up with a renowned music company for the release, is now happy to announce that the album will be released worldwide by Yellow and Red Music Company on International Women’s Day – 8 March (2014). Confirming the same, Mohit told Tellychakkar.com, “I have received an overwhelming response from everyone. I am very happy and would like to thank many people from the film world who have supported the making of the album.” As a note of thanks-giving, Mohit conveyed his thoughts, “Special mention goes to Ritu Deora’s Design Studios who charged absolutely nothing. Ratandeep Studios too needs to be mentioned where the album was shot. They also made sure that there was zero cost. Gunjan Malhotra and other actors made themselves available without charging a penny. Vikass Gupta of Good Times Pictures decided to be the Associate Producer as soon as he heard my poetry. I am grateful to more than 500 television actors and celebrities who stood together supporting and promoting the cause based album. An important mention to Tellychakkar.com which encouraged me by publishing the poetry; heartfelt thanks to my music director Saajid Salaam who decided to record the poem in my own voice. I thank the entire crew of Rape Must Die.. I Support, and my family who supported me throughout the journey.” The actor who got into his poem-reciting mood went on to say, “Ek Khoobsurat sher hai majrooh Sultanpuri Saheb ka… Apne Andaaz Mein Khahoonga. ‘Hum Akele Hi Chaley They Jaanib E Manzil…Magar… Saath Kuch Apno Ne Diya Aur Caravan Banta Gaya...’ He concluded by saying, “Look out for the video album which releases digitally worldwide on International Women’s Day on 8 March 2014.” All the best, Mohit!!!
