Fireworks Productions' popular show CID on Sony TV to air thrice a week from April

Fireworks Productions’ popular show CID on Sony Entertainment Television has been ‘in demand’ for 16 years now, so much so that viewers of every age love to watch the officers in action!! The news coming in is that the channel has few major plans for the long-running show in the next couple of months, which will kick-start with CID being aired thrice a week. A source says that from 1 April 2014, CID will be aired thrice a week (Friday to Sunday). Many other developments related to the show are in the planning stage right now. There might also be the introduction of few new cops. When contacted, Producer B.P. Singh asked us to call him later. As of now, the unit of CID is busy churning out stories which are Mumbai-centric. They will be shooting in the busy locations of Worli and many other places. An episode featuring the Dhabbawalas in Mumbai is also being planned. We tried getting a confirmation from the channel, but could not get through to them. Watch this space for more updates.
