Shooting away from family and friends in Chandigarh keeps me more focussed - Nikkhil Chaddha

Nikkhil Chaddha is once again impressing viewers and this time as an army officer in Life OK’s Nadaan Parinde. The Scaling Heights project is being shot extensively in Chandigarh and we spoke to the good looking lad about the show. “I play a very strong and focussed army officer who is passionate about his country and for the girl he loves. He is an unpredictable person and has lot many shades to him. My character Purab will have some grey shades to him but only when it would come to his love. His aggressiveness will only come to the fore while fighting for his country, which is not at all negative in any way,” said the sexy actor who looks a stunner in the army man look. Talking about the show’s producer Imtiaz Punjabi, the young guy averred, “It’s actually a dream come true for me to work with Imtiaz Sir. Apart from being a superb producer he is an excellent director. After a long time I have met a person who is as passionate as me. I am getting to learn so much from him, and working with him will give any actor creative satisfaction.” The actor will also shoot for some heavy duty action sequences in the show. When quizzed on that, Nikkhil quipped, “Well the show is based on the armed force, so action is demanded. It’s a first time for me, and I am really very excited. It is going to be a really interesting experience for sure.” The cast is also shooting in real locations in Chandigarh away from friends and family. Talking on the same, he said, “It’s a fun experience being in the ‘real’ pind and we don’t feel like going on the sets. Living in Mumbai is of course a strange feeling, but we are having an absolutely wonderful time in this beautiful place.
