MUMBAI : Noor Matharu plays the role of Bani in SonySAB’s Badal Pe Paon Hai.

In an exclusive interview with Noor, she spoke at length about what she likes most about her character and her experience shooting for the show.

Noor shared, “This character is Mannat, the younger sister of Bani and is the centre of the entire story. Her sister is not well and she wants to fulfil her aspirations and get her sister’s treatment done too. Her sister wants to become a journalist and even my second option in life was to become a journalist.

She is going with the flow despite encountering all the hurdles in her life. We shot for the sequences in 50 degrees and we were literally going through that process so everything that we experienced was relatable. Mannat’s character was all about acceptance so I have learnt a lot about acceptance through my character.

When asked what she likes most about her character, Noor expressed, “Mannat is so beautifully designed. She wants to live her life to the fullest. She is tired but is still trying hard and pushing herself. She is trying her level best to make Bani and the rest of the family happy. She has acceptance and although she faces hardships, she puts up a brave front with a smile on her face.”
