Bakra 'Shahrukh' was cooperative, says director Janki Vishwanathan

Yeh Hain Bakrapur director Janki Vishwanathan
National Award winning director Janki Vishwanathan whose directorial next, Yeh Hain Bakrapur has already grabbed eyeballs courtesy a goat named Shahrukh. While one wonders how King Khan SRK himself will react to this development, Janki remains and unfazed and is confident that SRK himself will have no problems. When we asked her if there has been any whisper of protest from official SRK quarters, Janki said, "I don't think SRK has taken any offence. I haven't heard anything from SRK's staff yet about him being angry or having any problem. When he sees the film, he will surely know that there is nothing offensive." Janki states that there was no malice behind naming the goat Shahrukh. In fact, the real name of the goat itself happens to be Shahrukh. "The real owners to whom the goat belongs also call him Shahrukh. That's his real name." This is the first time Janki ended up directing an animal in her career. And to our surprise Janki said directing the goat was not a big problem. "We took care of the goat really well. He didn't give us any trouble. He was very cooperative," said Janki. The film is a socio-political satire where Shahrukh, the goat plays the central character. While King Khan SRK is known for his romantic roles, Bakra Shahrukh too, according to Janki was quite the flirt, off-screen. "He used to vanish away for hours and we used to keep searching for him," said Janki with a wink. Well, let's wait and watch if Bakra Shahrukh can set the box-office on fire.
