Tellychakkar.com was the first to inform you about Lost Boy Productions coming up with a new mini-series of love stories with a twist, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, on Zing and here we bring you some more exclusive info on the same.
Well, apart from Meiyang Chang and Surbhi Jyoti hosting the show, which will launch from 23 May at the 7pm slot, many other popular faces of Tellywood are being roped in for its different episodics.
And here we give you the names- Shaleen Malhotra (Arjun), Ashwini Kaul (Yeh Hai Aashiqui), Sara Khan (Encounter), Kunal Verma (Halla Bol), Mayank Gandhi (Nandini), Abigail (Webbed) and Anshuman Srivastava (Yeh Jawani Ta Ra Ri Ri) have been signed by the makers.
The first episode will have Abigail and Anshuman sharing a very cute love story based in Haryana. Soon a third person’s entry will lead to problems in the relationship that will eventually lead to a tragic end.
The second episode as reported by us earlier will have Ayaz Ahmed (Webbed) and Chetna Pande (I Don’t Luv U) playing the lead in a story loosely based on the Nanavati case.
The third episode will have Shaleen and Ashwini playing mates at a juvenile centre where they will come close. How Shaleen will make a wrong move to protect Ashwini from the notorious warden will be the crux of the story.
And finally Kunal, Sara and Mayank will play the leads in the fourth episode that will be based in the era of 90s in Assam. With Mayank and Sara’s character being married but not being able to have an offspring, Mayank’s character will get his best friend (played by Kunal) involved in their life which will take a different turn in due course.
We spoke to Shaleen who confirmed and added, “It’s not a clichéd gay love story but it’s about friendship and human emotions. How one can feel protective about another person is being projected in the story. It was an amazing and interesting concept and I just couldn’t say no. This kind of love can be felt from a brother, friend, father or your mentor.”
Sara said in confirmation: “It’s the first time I am playing a Bengali and I am really excited about it.”
Abigail, Mayank, Kunal, Ashwini and Anshuman remained unavailable for comment.
The creative director of the show Ankur Dwivedi also confirmed the details.
