Siddhant Karnick to play the lead in Balaji's next?

Siddhant Karnick who is currently seen playing the evil Siddharth in Balaji’s Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani may bag Balaji’s next on Colors. As reported earlier, the show is based on two middle class Maharashtrian families; the Sawant’s and the Damle’s. A source says, “Siddhant has been finalized to play the lead on the show and Priyamvada Sawant of Meri Doli Tere Angana fame is being considered to play the female lead. But, Gaurav Bajpai who was earlier roped in to play the youngest son of the family will no longer be a part of the show. However the rest of the cast is yet to be finalized. If all goes well then we should start shooting in the next 10 days. “Both the leads will play lawyers on the show and they will eventually fall in love and get married.” However Siddhant (Karnick) says, “I did audition for the show but nothing is finalized yet. It’s just Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani for now and I am concentrating on it.” The show is likely to go on air post IPL.
