MUMBAI: Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi have come together as leads in the Tamil action-war movie, titled, ‘Amaran’. The movie also features actors like Rahul Bose, Bhuvan Arora, uresh Chakravrthy, Shreekumar, Mir Salman and many more. The movie is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and looking at the teaser, audience really thought of this being a very promising one to watch.
Be it the teaser, the trailer or the updates that audience got on social media, it only contributed to the increasing hype for this movie and it was really amazing to see how much people love Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi.

The story of the movie is based on the novel – India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes. The book is written by Shiv Aroor and while the book was received well by the audience, it seems like the movie is also going to score well at the box office.
That’s right! The movie has already released on 31st October and while there are people in the audience giving out their reviews and reactions on social media, we are here to show you the business aspect of the movie and how it has performed at the box office.
When looking at the first day collection of the movie, it made around Rs 21.40 Cr with 17.45 Cr in Tamil, 0.02 Cr in Kannada, 0.12 Cr in Hindi, 3.8 Cr in Telugu and 0.01 Cr in Malayalam.
On day 29, the movie collected around Rs 0.90 Cr but these are early estimates. The collection is still going well. The movie collected around Rs 321.9 Cr globally. The numbers were clearly dipping down before the weekends arrived but it showed strength on Saturday and Sunday. Then again, it did well given that it was a Monday. This is a reflection of how well the movie has captured it's audience.
It’ll be interesting to see how the movie performs on weekends.
