MUMBAI: Actor Arun Vijay from Tamil Nadu has filed a complaint against a well-known YouTube channel with the office of the Chennai Police Commissioner. The station spread false information about him and his family. Senior actor Vijayakumar's son is Arun Vijay. A few years back, a well-known Tamil daily released an extremely obscene report on some actresses, including Manjula, Vijayakumar's second wife. It received harsh criticism.

In 1969, Vijayakumar got married to Muthukannu. Kavita Vijayakumar, Anita Vijayakumar, and Arun Vijay are their three children. Actress Manjula and Vijayakumar later got married a second time in 1976. Vanitha Vijayakumar, Preetha Vijayakumar, and Sridevi are their three daughters. Manjula fought against jaundice for a long time before passing away in 2013. Following her death, a YouTube channel has taken up the obscene libel stories that the daily newspaper had begun. A YouTube channel has posted defamatory and obscene comments against Vijayakumar and his late wife.
To take action against them, Arun Vijay has reported to the office of the police commissioner. He said in his complaint that his mother was also the target of the derogatory comments, in addition to the late Manjula. In this case, the police have not yet taken any action.
Meanwhile, Arun Vijay’s sister Anita Vijayakumar’s daughter Diya got married in Chennai in February. Vijayakumar’s daughters Kavita, Preetha and son Arun Vijay attended the wedding. Many celebrities including superstar Rajinikanth came and congratulated Diya. The photos and videos of this wedding event went viral on social media, which was shared by Arun Vijay himself.
The last time we saw Arun Vijay was in the action film Mission: Chapter 1, which was helmed by AL Vijay and premiered on January 12 in honor of Pongal. Arun Vijay, Amy Jackson, and Nimisha Sajayan are the main actors in the movie; other cast members include Abi Hassan, Bharath Bopana, and Iyal. Jackson's debut film since a five-year hiatus. The movie got mixed reviews and did a mediocre job at the box office.
