Awesome! Rishab Shetty starrer Kantara does exceedingly good business, all set to cross the earnings of Yash’s KGF Chapter 1

MUMBAI : The Kannada language film Kantara released on 30th September and has been doing exceptional business. The film is produced and directed by Rishab Shetty and also stars him in the lead. The film also stars Sapthami Gowda in the lead. The film’s Hindi version is nearing the Rs 50 crore mark, which is more than Yash’s KGF Chapter 1 did. The latter had done about Rs. 45 crores.

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara has been getting great reviews from critics and the fans. It’s Hindi version released on 14th October and has even been giving Akshay Kumar starrer Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn’s ThankGod a tough run for its money. 

Meanwhile, amidst the adulation, Kantara has also faced some issues liker the controversy of Bhoota Kola and some plagiarism accusations. Kantara is written, produced, and directed by the lead actor Rishab Shetty. The film had 17.06 per cent occupancy rate on 1st of November in Hindi.

Kantara also stars Achyuth Kumar, Kishore, Sapthami Gowda and Pramod Shetty in lead roles. Kantara is produced by Hombale Films.
