MUMBAI: Southstar Nayanthara recently tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend filmmaker Vignesh Shivan in an intimate ceremony. However, the actress might take a break from on-screen to spend quality time with her husband and if reports are to be believed Nayanthara won't romance on-screen with her co-stars. However, an official statement on this major decision is awaited.

Nayanthara and Vignesh tied the knot on June 9. After getting married, the duo went to Tirupati Temple to seek the blessings of the lord. Later, it was found that the duo had violated temple rules. According to Chief Vigilance Security Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board, Narasimha Kishore, the actress was seen wearing footwear in Mada Streets. He mentioned that the newlyweds violated the rules as they brought private photographers with them.
On Thursday, Vignesh Shivan wed the love of his life, actress Nayanthara, at a grand and glittering ceremony at a resort in Mahabalipuram in the presence of close family members and a host of friends from the film industry.
Vignesh tied the sacred 'Thali' around actress Nayanthara's neck at around 10.24 a.m. even as guests who had gathered for the wedding showered their blessings upon the newly-wed couple.
Shah Rukh Khan made an unexpected appearance at Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivam's wedding in Chennai, followed by superstar Rajnikanth, Thalapathy Vijay, Ajith, filmmaker Man Ratnam, and many others.
