MUMBAI: In a testament to the power of purposeful giving, actor-philanthropist Lakshmi Manchu is expanding her transformative work in Telangana, directly shaping brighter futures for underserved children and adolescent girls in government schools. Guided by a vision of equality through education and health, these initiatives are creating lasting impact where it matters most, in the lives of young learners.
Building on the success of 45 Smart Classrooms already established in government schools, two new advanced digital learning spaces will now be added in Janwada. These classrooms are more than just infrastructure — they are gateways to opportunity, fostering interactive, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences for both students and teachers.
Beyond the classroom, dignity and well-being remain a priority through the FlowForward initiative, which provides reusable sanitary pads to adolescent girls. Having reached 6,000 girls so far, the program will now support an additional 1,000, helping reduce absenteeism, promote eco-friendly menstrual practices, and ensure that no girl’s education is compromised due to lack of resources.
Together, these efforts have positively impacted over 9,000 students and adolescent girls across Telangana, demonstrating how targeted, meaningful action can create ripples of change across entire communities.
