MUMBAI: South Indian films are no more just catering the audiences down South. Many biggies are being dubbed and released in various languages including Hindi, and even audiences in the North are always excited to watch good South movies.

One of the most-awaited South films is Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule. The movie is currently in production and recently there were reports that a teaser of the film will be launched on Allu Arjun’s birthday this year (8th April). While there’s no confirmation on it, fans of the actor are very excited about the teaser.

Well, not many would know that, it’s a trend in the South film industry that on the actors and actresses' birthday either a first look poster, teaser or trailer is released. A few days ago, on Janhvi Kapoor’s birthday, the makers of NTR30 had made an official announcement about her casting and shared her first look poster.

Fans of the South Indian actors know this trend very well and that’s why they always eagerly look forward to their favorite star’s birthday because either a new film will be announced, or the first look/teaser will be unveiled.

Well, Bollywood has also started following this trend a bit, and they try to announce or share a film’s first look or teaser or trailer on the birthday or during the birthday week.
