MUMBAI : Vijay Deverakonda was last seen on the big screens in Liger, which was a flop at the box office. At the trailer launch of Kushi today, the actor spoke to about the failure of Liger.

The actor said, "When a film doesn't perform, it does hurt. Liger was not my first flop. I have also had many hits before. I will continue to experience both flops and hits because, ultimately, we are trying to tell stories. My ambition is always to pursue something creative, and my lifestyle is to wholeheartedly commit to it."

"It does hurt when the results are not as expected, but it doesn't discourage me. I am not afraid of failure. Even though it hurts when a film doesn't work, it doesn't stop me from trying again. I am not afraid of stumbling," he added.

Vijay will next be seen in Kushi, which also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. The movie will hit the big screens on 1st September 2023.
