MUMBAI: While there was a buzz of Hindi cinema earlier, slowly things changed, the audience expanded as the content got better. Now the content is king, be it a regional movie, a theatrical release or OTT release. We can now see a smooth flow of content from everyone as the audience has not just accepted but are loving the stories, the actors and the genres from all the places.
Over the years, we have seen South cinema evolve and become a major one with the kind of content it has catered to us. A lot of superstars have made a mark in the minds and hearts of the audiences with their performances and style.
Last year, we saw some great movies from South cinema which were Pan-India releases. One of them was Leo featuring Thalapathy Vijay and Sanjay Dutt. This year kickstarted with a lot of announcements and recently, on 12th Jan, 7 movies were released, giving audiences a great number of choices to watch their type of movies.
Now, one more major announcement has happened where we will get to see some really major names coming together. That’s right! We are going to see Thalapathy Vijay, Prabhu Deva, Prashanth and Ajmal in the Tamil movie The Greatest Of All Time. The movie is directed by Venkat Prabhu.
