MUMBAI: Rejoice Prabhas fans. The shooting of ‘Salaar 2 Shouryaanga Parvam’ will reportedly take place very soon. Now, according to a report by Hindustan Times, the megastar along with Prithviraj Sukumaran will commence shooting for the movie in June, reportedly. Well, ‘Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire’ was released in theatres last year and performed pretty well at the box office. When Twitterati came to know that Prabhas would be seen in the second part of the action drama film, they could not keep calm.

A fan page named Prabhas fans posted a picture of the star from the film and wrote, "Shoot Starts Soon". Another user wrote, "#Prabhas Allotted His Dates For #Salaar2 SalaarTheSaga Mania Begins"! A third user wrote, “Rebel Star #Prabhas #Salaar 2 Shoot Starts This May End”! "#Salaar2 Shooting to start from may end. Official Announcement, #Prabhas #SalaarShouryangaParvam", wrote a fourth user. Another user also wrote, “Social media talk: #Prabhas will join into #Salaar2 shooting after the release of #Kalki2898AD”.

A source close to the film revealed to the publication, "Ever since the release of Salaar, Prashanth has been working on the script of the second part of the film. He along with his writers have been fine tuning the script backed by the feedback and response to the first part. Now, he is ready to get back to work and capture his vision on camera".

Reports also suggest that ‘Salaar 2’ will be shot in Hyderabad and Chennai. "Prabhas along with Prithviraj will start shooting for the film in the second half of June. The first schedule of the film will be 15 days long. They are shooting intense action sequences first. They will be shot in Chennai as well as the film city in Hyderabad", the source further added.

Apart from Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, the stellar cast of the film reportedly will also include Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju. Reportedly 'Salaar 2' will hit the floors on Christmas 2025.
