MUMBAI : SS Rajamouli’s RRR is undoubtedly one of the best films we have seen in 2022. The movie starred Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Alia Bhatt, and Olivia Morris. It became a blockbuster at the box office, and after its OTT release, it got an amazing response overseas.
Everyone was rooting for RRR to be India’s official entry to the Oscars, but that didn’t happen. However, the film has now been nominated at Golden Globes 2023. The movie has received nominations in two categories, Best Motion Picture – Non-English Language and Best Original Song – Motion Picture.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Shriya Saran and spoke to her about RRR’s nominations at Golden Globes 2023. She told us, “I am so excited and happy for everyone, especially Rajamouli sir. He worked so hard on the film, and he is such a good filmmaker. I am so happy that I am a part of the film in such a beautiful way. I am so excited for Charan, Tarak, and for everyone who has been a part of the film. My favorite song will always be Janani from the film. I am just very excited.”
Shriya Saran had a small, but very pivotal role in it, and she impressed one and all with her performance in the film. 2022 was a good year for the actress as she featured in two back-to-back hits RRR and Drishyam 2.
Even in its fourth week, Drishyam 2 has been doing very well at the ticket windows, and till now, the film has collected Rs. 211.36 crores at the box office.
