MUMBAI : One thing that’s very common in the South film industry is that they don’t give much importance to their female leads when it comes to movie announcements and sometimes even in teasers. A recent example would be the teaser of Salaar in which there was not even a small glimpse of Shruti Haasan who plays the female lead in the movie. Even a few months ago, when the title of Ram Charan starrer Game Changer was announced, Kiara Advani was also not mentioned in it.
Today, the title and the first glimpse of Nani 30 have been released. The movie is titled Hi Nanna and the first glimpse video has Nani, Mrunal Thakur, and Kiara Khanna. It’s a beautiful video, and there’s something in it that stands out.
Well, in the first glimpse video, it is Mrunal Thakur who is seen before Nani, and her name appears before the Natural Star. This is something very rare that happens in the South film industry, and that’s something which has impressed us a lot.
The pairing of Mrunal and Nani looks very fresh, and the former looks gorgeous in it. Mrunal made her Telugu debut last year with Sita Ramam, and impressed one and all with her performance in the film. It surely gave her career a boost and she started getting more offers down South.
Hi Nanna is slated to release on 21st December 2023 which means it will get the Christmas holiday weekend. While it’s a Telugu movie, it will be dubbed and released in various languages including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
