MUMBAI: Rajan and Deepa Shahi's "Anupamaa" recently touched upon the issue of workplace harrasment. Kinjal's boss Dholakia misbehaves with her because of which she quit the job. She informs Anupamaa about the same, and she assures her that she will teach Dholakia a lesson.
When Vanraj asks Anupamaa what's wrong with Kinjal, Anupamaa doesn't say anything. Vanraj tells her that Dholakia has a habit of misbehaving with female employees. Anupamaa still keeps mum and Vanraj realises that Dholakia has done something worse. He asks Samar to get his hockey stick and tells him that he will teach Dholakia a lesson.
Anupamaa stops them and tells them that beating him won't be any good and that he needs to be humiliated publicly. Kavya tells them that this won't do any good and Kinjal should just ignore it. When Anupamaa tells her that she will fight for Kinjal, Kavya asks her that a woman who tolerated her husband's verbal abuse for 25 years, how will she take a stand for someone else. Anupamaa gives her befitting reply and tells her that it's because of that she now wants her daughter and daughter-in-laws to live freely.
