MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

At the café where they meet, Anupama finds out that Prathana is upset about Prem's impending engagement.
Prathana is clearly shocked when Anupama tells her that Prem is getting engaged to her daughter after admitting that Prem made the chocolates Prathana loved.
As Mahi's meeting with Prem draws closer, Rahi urges her to control her emotions. Despite Rahi's discomfort, Mahi requests that she write Prem's name on her mehndi. Anupama reassures Mahi of her feelings as the Shahs get ready for the engagement.
Later, Prathana approaches Prem and begs him to change his mind about the engagement, but he dismisses her. Prem counsels Rahi to keep her love for Mahi intact while she decorates a banner. Prem encourages Rahi, but Rahi turns him down.
