MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Given his tumultuous family history, Prem appears to harbor a great deal of resentment toward Parag and Kyaati. Prem believes that Parag and Kyaati killed his mother so they could be together when she passed away at a young age.
Since his children were young and in need of a mother figure, Parag married his secretary Kyaati after his first wife, Gayatri, passed away suddenly. Prem never came to grips with the fact that Kyaati was her mother, but Prathna was able to accept it.
Anupama and Rahi will soon be emotionally weak once Prem tells them the truth. Since Kyaati comes off as a very kind and straightforward woman, Anupama believes that Prem is misinterpreting her.
As he continues to work through his past, Prem will be seen asking Anupama and Rahi not to bring up the names of Parag and Kyaati in front of him.
Rahi will support Prem and make an effort to understand his suffering. Anupama will worry about Prem since he harbors a great deal of resentment and bitterness.
