MUMBAI: Presenting such a passionate love story, COLORS’ upcoming show ‘Chand Jalne Laga’ traces the journey of two childhood sweethearts, Dev and Tara who once brought solace in each other’s lives, but a turn of fate leads them astray. The very forces that once bound them, compel them to lead separate lives, but serendipitously their paths cross.
With a fresh pairing of popular actors, Vishal Aditya Singh and Kanika Mann, essaying the lead roles of Dev and Tara respectively, the story of 'Chand Jalne Laga' unfolds against the backdrop of a beautiful vineyard.

Earlier, Deva returned after a 15-year hiatus seeking revenge for his tragedies, while Tara is currently held responsible for his imprisonment. Tara will therefore now suffer difficulty in her life because Deva first strikes the haveli, which is why Tara hates Deva so much.
Tara stops her brother from selling the ancestral haveli since she values it so much. However, when Deva decides he intends to put Tara in pain equal to hell, he comes as a big businessman to buy the haveli.
In the upcoming episode, Tara and Deva both visit the messed-up place. Tara tells him that it used to be Navratri Pandal when Deva asked her. He again asks her about what happened there, and she replies that she does not remember. He asks her that she must not have lost anything so she does not remember. According to him, Many people's life gets spoiled by such fire.
He gets to know that it wasn’t an accident so he asks details about what happened exactly but she refuses to answer. He holds closer and asks if someone has suffered a lifetime because of this incident she does not remember and according to her, no one is affected. She also gets shocked by it.
